I can remeber when you could buy these as pets. Had a tank with 3 red juveniles they were mean as hell. Would tear apart and eat anything you through in the tank. I went on vacation had my dad feed them he took to long and they jumped out and grabbed bag of gold fish out of his hand tore open the bag. Scared my dad. Live in northern climate so dont blame me for your snake head problem. Came from some Asian breeders farm in FL.

A useful tip to get rid of that slime is before you start filleting to hold the fish up and bathe it with some hot water. Then rinse under the tap with warm water. Works every time with any slimy fish. If it's a species that has a muddy taste, then rub with fish with lots of salt (rock salt works best) and rinse again. This gets rid of the algae that makes the fish taste muddy.

First off - Darcizzle is a true hottie. Now that we've gotten that out of the way - I like this video. I recently visited Florida and was intrigued by all the fresh water and that a guy I golfed with down there said the snakeheads are everywhere. I want to come back and fish there now. I'm on the left coast.
