Hey guys! Loved this vid. Brought back so many memories for me. I was (and still am) a shoreline fisherman, I fished in and around the Gulf Coast (Tampa Bay) a lot. My favorite spot was the Skyway Bridge between Pinellas and Manatee Counties. Id fish the Manatee side during the fall and spring run of the spanish mackerel. Caught and ate many.
I see by your video that you were fishing the fall run in as much as your saying its February. That smoked mackerel looks yummy.

i dont know how yall can reel with your left hand. i must swap the reel handle to you right sight so i can fish comfortably. i dont know why i am like this i was raised by left handers so you would think i would want to fish the way you do but it just feels wrong. i am right hand dominate but when it comes to fishing i want to fight with my left and reel with my right.

A little trick I do is get all the Sharpie marker colors at the craft store an carry em in the boat. When ya want to add color to a jig just color em, works on crankbaits too. Sharpie is removable from most materials with rubbing alcohol. It may not look store bought but fish don't care.

Puddin shaking his head trying to get Darci to stop fishing. I know how she feels when the bite is that good. Last year I caught a 25 inch Spanish from the jetty in Corpus Christi. He hit so hard I almost lost my rod! Keep up the great videos.

More great stuff! Spanish is one of my favorite kinds of fish, to catch and to eat. They make the summer around here in NC, and can really save a trip when nothing else wants to bite.

I usually I half dry my fish before I smoke them, I dry them for a 1/2 day to seal the moisture in the fish. then smoke for about 20 minutes. Good video!
