We are inshore fishing in Stuart Florida, fishing for Black Drum aka big ugly under bridges and piers. Using live shrimp and jigs for bait and tackle, I landed three monsters. I also show you how to clean, or fillet, your catch and then we barbeque BBQ on the half-shell

I caught some legal size black drum in Lemon Bay over in Englewood FL on the west coast. It gave me a heck of a fight, I thought it was a redfish as it was getting dark. It tasted good, but was a little more fishy tasting than redfish and I bled him out too as that usually gets rid of the fishy smell, but I don't mind fishy smell. I've never caught any with worms though. Hard to clean because of those hard scales.

Great video like always. I will have to try that setup. I never seen any worms in that size black drum. But ppl love to keep others freaked out so don t let it get to you. Just keep slaying and tight lines.

They do get wormy in the summer months and the bigger they get they tend to have more worms. Cold weather and smaller fish like what you have there is the way to go for black drum

Hey Darsizzel, now you have fished there try the light at the railroad bridge at night for big ole snook and under the Old bridge for HUGE jew fish near the south shore

Black Drum that size are perfect for eating, people who don't think so probably have never tried it. Come on over to Texas if you want to get on some giant Black Drum.

We caught over 100 in the 6 to 8lb size in one afternoon. Lots of fun and great eating. I've eaten thousands of them and can say I've never seen a worm in them.

We catch plenty of those up here in North Florida. Great eating when they are smaller and have strips like a Sheepshead. No worms on these smaller fish.

Love the winter gear
I'm one of those weirdos that pretty much wears the same thing every time I fish no matter what the weather is doing.

Dont let the larger fish fool you, most of the worms are concentrated around the anal fin area. Still plenty of good meat in that fish.

I catch black drum all the time in cape canaveral and personally this is the most underrated fish to eat. Keep the videos coming.
