ALLIGATOR --ATTACKED-- While I Was Setting CRAWFISH TRAPS! Laura: -Bluegabe That amphibian you guys found around 14: 52 looks like a siren of some kind. They're fully aquatic, external gilled amphibians that usually lack hind legs (like that one looked to lack. Couldn't tell in the footage about the gills since they're not as distinct out of water but it might have had them. Most sally's and sirens and stuff are pretty harmless, but it's the amphiuma's that suck! They don't let go when they bite!

It just looked to me that he took way too many chances during this video. with his wife and kids. He found an alligator in a shallow area and then he moves to another shallow area feet in the water with his family and allows his wife to wade in the other shallow area to get the trap. I wouldn't follow him if it were me.

Kelly you should have thrown that snake on Gabe for acting like a little girl lol. You guys are awesome. I have no problem grabbing any snake or fish but I wouldn-t in a million years touch one of them prawn things with them long alien stick looking arms. Them things are disgusting looking

Woah, dude, you are too complacent when it comes to the water and your gators for my liking.
You do that to an Australian Salt Water Croc, (turn your back)then say good bye as you will be gone in a flash and they can drag a full grown water buffalo into the water.

Your wife has some guts about her.
I wanted to tell you that I've watched a lot of your videos and I just knew that you had to be kin to Robert, Deer meat for dinner. I love the videos and keep up the great videos.

How did you NOT grill/smoke that eel? You guys eat everything that moves. Potential catch and cook fail imo. Also, I love that BG will jump in a canal with a 9 foot gator but won't pick up a harmless water snake. lol
reply

OK so observed how invisible the first gator was and then 2 minutes later you are bare footing it into 8- of dark water? I don't want to call you dumb but I don't know what else to call that.
reply

It doesn't take much for these alligators and crocodiles to hide. I live down here in Australia and a 15ft saltwater crocodile can disappear in 2 feet of water.

And that was a small gator too. The way that net landed in the water like that, the gator probably thought it was a bird and its instinct kick in.
