Haven't opened scallops in a while but I have friends who could open a gallon in a hour lot of those look like bugs which we called undersizes scallops. Scallops survive when their a baby by attaching to eel grass so never destroy any seaweed or eelgrass underwater or they can't attach themselves I don't try to sound like a know it all but myself, family and many friends were baymen until politics and mankind wiped it out on us.

Let me give you some help cleaning those scallops. Number one put them on ice. They will pop open on their own. Number to use a spoon and follow the shell. They clean perfectly with a spoon. Rinse them only in salt water. We are found that fresh water washes the flavor away. When you-re cleaning the limit for six people you-ll find the shortest way you can to clean these things. We-ve even used the shop vac. For real we did

Glad you guys discovered curry. You should check out GOAN cuisine. Goa is state on the southwestern coast of India. The food is heavily influenced by the Portuguese that colonized the area. The food is basically half vegetarian (Hindu culture) and half meat and fish (Catholic. They eat a lot of fish curry with peppers, coconut milk and coconut oil, and some vinegar. Lots of prawns. Enjoy!
