Underwater footage from a days fishing. I just leave the camera on the seabed while I fish! Its exciting to see what is underneath you while you are at sea, especially if its not what you are catching. for these videos the footage was taken on my old GoPro hero 3. All of it was filmed just off of Falmouth Cornwall

Some may find this video boring, but I find it fascinating. I imagine fish, if the script were flipped, would be fascinated at watching the myriad terrestrial species in their natural habitat. If you think about it, there are some interesting parallels. An example: people going to-and-fro on the walks about town, stopping for a nib here and there.
BTW, the congers are brutish!
Love this vid, John!

Super footage. Water very clear. I design a swim feeder from 28mm poly pipe with a wire running through it to attach to the weight and then onto the lesser. It has holes drilled into the it with end caps. Fill it with bait. Lug mackerel crab chum mix. Extra scent a traction round you bait. Can send photos if you have a link

What an outstanding video.
I've always looked at the sea as a beautiful, magical and forceful place & you've captured the beauty perfectly in this & your other underwater vids. Thank you so much for uploading -

I was willing the conger to find a way into the bait canister. You could tell, just in that short space of time, that it had figured out what to do. Fascinating to watch. Thanks for sharing -

Like watching a wild sea aquarium very cool, could you somehow rig a camera to to one of the pots or from outside looking in to watch just an idea, might spook the fish or crabs mind.

This was amazing! Any chance of a video showing us your underwater gopro rig? Would love to check out some of my favourite marks to see what else is swimming about.
