After hearing some good catch reports recently I headed to Loe Bar in Cornwall for another beach session. In terms of numbers it was a great night, 36 fish, were they what I was hoping for!

I wonder how many people that saw the descriptive - Dogging - scrolling through videos. thought you meant something else lol
Was it high tide when you filmed that footage? Doesn't seem to be receeding as your day progressed. I remember when Fish shops used to sell Dogfish, . Also had Cod Roe once pan fried in Butter. Another product rarely available in Local Fishshops and Supermarket stalls.
As your using 2 rods which one do you pick when both baits are taken and when you pulled out the hooks of the Doggers, have you always used barbless hooks?

Another great video. And what a lovely beach too. Also you should of got your own back- and ate a couple of those doggies-. Some oil in a pan and a knob of butter. Their not bad. Also the skin comes in handy too- if u dry it out. I once sanded my 14ft wooden boat down with it, before painting it. Lol. -

Ah, the good old blank-beating Doggies! I like them, but I'm not sure if I could take 36 of them -. Shame you didn't get any Huss or Ray, I've seen a couple of pictures of them caught off there recently so it was definitely worth a try!

Hi, although you live on the south coast, I detect a definite Hull accent, or at least the East Riding of Yorkshire, but I'll go with Hull. such a lovely accent, and that's from me in Barton upon Humber.

You're SO right about the bait thing. Apart from my Bass fishing I fish the Thames for Barbel and Carp, and I have never ever had anyone give any bait away in course fishing. Funny that.
