Hey John, THANKS for this Autumn, coastal ramble.
Summer is great. but Autumn my favorite season. Sadly, my region of Mexico doesn't have
much of a seasonal change. Although, the temperatures are noticeably cooler this time of year.
What an amazing place that area would be for an October picnic! The views are spectacular!
Although, when you went to the cliff-edge. it gave me -the willys-. Heights kinda' get to me.
Your drone & undersea footage is GREAT!
! OMG. that lobster looked large enough to feed a family: -)
OK, ya' gotta' tell me. what did Hannah do with the delicious berries you picked!

I now live in the state of Rhode Island, U. S. A. According to sources there is one native plant resembling a blackberry bush. It is one of the wild roses with tiny little flowers followed by tiny little rose hips. Birds are always landing in our rhododendrons and pooping out seeds from our neighbours plants. Last year there appeared an ornamental grape producing small, almost neon, blue, green, and purple grapes. This year 3 new prickers appeared under our bushes- all 3 resemble blackberry bushes, one standard pricker colour, one light green, and one with a red tinge- none appear in any Northeastern U. S. A. plant guide.

I enjoyed your thoughts about granite remaining unchanged. I-m a studying historian and I often think the same things when I look at the stars and realize that every human before me has stared up at the same stars and moon. While it makes me feel insignificant, it also makes me feel connected to every other human who-s lived before us in the enormity of time. Ancient people walked the same roads you do now, fished the same waters, felt the same feelings. People have always just been people, but we-ve all been doing it together. I think it-s incredible: ) That-s what made me pursue history.

Great vid, enjoyed the variety, buildings and of course underwater. I was just thinking to myself, - i wonder if any fish seek shelter from th current and perhaps predators in the caves etc -, and then as if on cue, u answer! I had a chuckle. How many more weeks do u think u can snorkel b4 the weather gets too poor? And can u farm your pots year-round? Thanku 4 yr vids.

Loved every minute of this. Straight talking common sense. You are so right about the simple things in life and taking everyday as it comes. Just got back from the Cairngorms, Scotland and the mountains do it for me. The people that you meet are also a significant factor in making us realise that most of us are after the same thing. contentment, M.

I'm in East Kent (from Northern Ireland originally, and I normally make Elderberry wine, but I went out 2 weeks ago, and there was barely anything here left. All withered. Brambles nearly all done too. Great vid John, really terrific knowledge, and what a place. You're a great advertisement for Cornish tourism, if they need it!

I spent years running up and down Cornish cliffs to fish or beach comb. Now if I come back I-m afraid of heights- even seeing drop offs on videos. Can-t look. Neurologicals have also ruined my balance and how far I can walk- level ground only- there is no level ground in Cornwall. The only Chough I-ve ever saw was in Ireland.

On a different note I-ve picked up from previous films that you originate from Whitby; what took you down to Cornwall and how does fishing and life generally compare with Whitby? It had everything! knowledge of flora and fauna, Great shots of the coastline, Excellent drone footage, Under water film, Ornithology, Local history, Even had a bit of geology and to top it was your WISDOM on life -. PS I think most of the leads you found belonged to the sweetcorn kid -

great video john and you couldnt of got a better shot if you tried of the ruins with all the mist on the sea, looks stunning. how are you not on tele i will never no as you no so much, love it. p, s. i so nearly said why are you not picking the blackberries at the start, lol.
