Im sure ours were brown and spotty undernieth with smaller mouth. Can your canera cut wind and white noise. My go pro 3s wont and il need serious stableisation for my boat camera. do u use a gimble or fixed mount for your camera. can u recomend me an external mic or wing sock type thing. I understand now thay these videos were a new idea to help occasionaly help your workload. so great short video.

I got a dedicated dropshot setup for xmas as I fancied learning how to do it and be able to snatch quick sessions with minimal gear (a nice small Fox Rage kit, but sadly the place I intend to use it is about 15 miles away so with lockdown I can't justify going there. Don't know anywhere nearer that I can try it out which is a shame. Oh well, it'll all still be there after lockdown. Also, it's weird seeing you use small gear like that instead of a chuffing gurt lead and a Mountain Dew bottle float!

I love the content another great video, one thing I would point out is it looked like you had your fingers in the brown trouts gill plate?
You shouldnt hold a trout in general by its gills/gill plate if you plan on releasing them, theyre alot more sensitive to damage in their gills during handling compared to say pike or sea species which have different stronger genetic build around the gills/jaw in general.
More of this content please: )

I have often heard of the -peace- of fishing, but had never really experienced it (when I did fish it seemed more an excercise in boredom & frustration as I caught nothing but they stole all my bait lol. But somehow you captured that quiet contemplative peace and managed to share it with us all. Thank you for the smile at the end as you backtracked for your camera.

Nice fishing. but if were you guys I'd be eating the Pike. They don't have a problem breeding and you would have way more perch, trout etc. Pike eat everything including there own. I grew up fishing them in Alberta, but in BC they are not allowed and have to be reported if found. Anyway just my thoughts. Merv BC

What a belter of a brownie! So light in colour too. Pushed me on to get my fly boxes sorted for the new season. Lochs up by me fish pretty early, ie April. normally using wee size 16 goldhead nymphs and more traditional flies on the droppers. Niceone and cheers for the video. All the best to you and family!

-9: 48 the big hen fish cannot survive on tadpoles and insects. but the little jacks can. all male. so she farms out the little males til they're fat enough to eat. then she eats them all and leaves one to mate with. for it's next season. whether its the same male no one knows.

What a wonderfully calming video! Nice change of pace to normal (although I love your regular vids.
I know you need a licence to do freshwater, was this on -syndicate water- or free to fish (with a licence of course) and could you keep the trout?

Lovely day out. Really enjoyed the new style as the images spoke for themselves. When you are in the boat I love the way you explain what is going on but here I think you really caught the mood. That first pike was watching your every move. amazing fish!

I really liked the format of this video John. It was very professional, from the camera work to the drone footage and the music was very chilled too it all gelled together so well. I feel relaxed now! That pike was a bonus, such amazing fish.
