Exploring a local shoreline with my underwater camera in March. Cold water but amazing sealife everywhere. Countless different species of sea creatures and seaweeds, fan worms and sponges. A truly magical trip under the waves

Amazing footage, please could you do a video about the different types of sea life and handling techniques? I noticed you didn't attempt to touch Mr Velvet and have referred to them as feisty in previous videos, also the way you hold spider crabs seems more cautious than with the lobsters yet the lobster claws are bigger. I also struggle unhooking fish because I never know which fish has spikes where or if their teeth can pierce my skin. Your knowledge and experience would sure do me a favor haha. Does Mrs Fish Locker dive?

Hi family. Lots more fantastic videos in the last few weeks. John you really had me on the edge of my couch catching that fantastic ling. Your scuba diving is amazing and I love the way you just know where the lobsters live. Just wondering have you ever fished for seat rout. I have recently bought a trout rod and have been trying to get the hang of the lures that I was told I would need. So far I've clocked up over 40 hours fishing and no luck. As always. Stay safe. Thanks john. Your conservation practices shine but here in South Africa they fall on deaf ears. We can no longer even recreationally catch abalone because of poaching and greedy inlanders who fill sackfuls af any size crayfish, Abalone and Alikeukal. Giant sea snail. I'm sickened by my own peoples greed and selfishness. So selfish they don't even care if their children never see an abalone or a cray fish

Excellent video yet again John, good luck with all you do you deserve it. One question, you said the Lobster that has just shed its shell is no good to eat. Novice with lobsters but have just made three pots thanks to another excellent video, licences etc for my area. Why isn-t the lobster any good to eat as this is something I-ll have to look out for?

Ive been away due to being easily distracted. Watching this video fills me with calm. I miss the sound of being under water in the ocean. I went on a cruise when I was at the depths of my depression. The ocean welcomed and comforted me when nothing else did. Sounds the exact same as it does in my memory. That cruise was over a decade ago-

I wish there was as much life on the reef up here in Tywyn. Easter would be my first time in the water with the spear gun when i lived in cornwall very cold even colder 3m down never got such good clarity on the North coast except high summer in a flat spell. I love the dive videos i would have had that flounder LOL. nice one

Ok John if you don-t think the locals would appreciate you as ambassador for Cornwall get your name down to take over from Sir Attenborough when he retires! Your knowledge of the marine life that surrounds you is exceptional and it-s obvious you care very much about it and maintaining it! Another great video. Hat-s off to you -

What a wonderful day under the water. In our area it is illegal to take a female lobster bearing eggs and the minimum landing size is 90mm carapace. It is because of these measures that we have such a healthy lobster population. Be sure to speak to your local IFCA for your relevant bylaws. ----

Excellent footage, some of the best I-ve seen yet! The viz reminds me of here in Oz. I-ve never seen a flounder caught by hand beofre so that was a new experince. Thank you for not swinging your head too much as it makes viewing a much nicer experience.
