We did so well at Foord Lake the first time we fished it, my son and I decided to make the trek back with two of the others guys in camp during our trip to Gangler's Bain Lake outpost.
As you'll see we did pretty well!
Aurora64blue: Must be an absolute thrill for your son to experience fishing like this, as well for you, being able to see him grow into his experience. Just curious, my sons always loved catching the river brookies, but always actually enjoyed it more when they got to release them back into the water and feeling them swim out from their hands. Since we mainly fish in the southern Ontario rivers we always release them back due to the extreme fishing pressure. I know that you kept some of the trout that you caught during your trip to Algonquin, which I would also do if I was on an extended canoe trip.
