Retro episode from 2003 that is all about nymphing strategies in the rivers of upstate New York. Great instruction and information for all fly fishers iamjonesin: Haven't been fishing near Malone yet. Only as far south as Chateaugay town but above the falls. Incredible waters and surreal fishing with brown, rainbow, and brook trout to be enticed. My Canuck side of the river is splendid as well but produces fewer brookies - more resident browns and fallfish. Although swift, it's not as high in elevation as NY for those cooler runs those wily char prefer.
