-Over next to the alders- at 2: 31, looks like willows to me. Willows are the host plant for 257 different caterpillars of moths and butterflies. The alder is the host plant to how many caterpillars of moths and butterflies? I believe willows produce more food for fish than alders. I read that the willows survive behind beaver dams where the area is flooded and alders die if flooded behind a beaver dam. Probably the reason big brook trout like beaver dams is because of the extra food provided by willows to inhabitants of the stream.

I love the mouse, I have only ever owned one and it came from a friend who brought it back from Plaster Rock NB. First cast on the Grand River and a PIKE ate it, new to a top water trout hit which I have never had it was the best hit ever

Safety Orange jacket to keep the fish safe by letting them see your every move? How about a nice olive drab, Granite or sand color so fish aren't on high alert the second you come out from behind a bush.
