Beautiful little natives. I love the New Fly Fisher series videos but is it just me or do all the cast sound like they are part hoot owl when they say words like -out- and -trout-? :)Kinda knocks me out of the feeling of being there in Idaho, Montana or Wyoming. But I'm just jealous as I'd like to host my own falconry / fly fishing combo trip videos I call -Rip and Slips-. Keep up the great content.

I listened to most of your episode as I was driving a tractor trailer out of Nashville to the Quad cities today. Im glad you had an enjoyable time. - least someone is. My home waters are much to warm to handle trout in streams. They are present in a few of the larger lakes. But so are Big Mouth Bass, which hold my attention. Along with Crappie, Catfish, Blue Gills, Bass, Carp.

I like seeing you guys doing DIY trips, guides are great and everyone should use one for multiple reasons once and awhile. But the resorts you often show are outside most people's expectations for a vacation do to cost, location and considering spouses idea of a getaway etc. While a one day DYI trip on a one week long vacation is more realistic.

Very nice. I need to go there soon. I spent 3 months last year in the Driftless area of Wisconsin for browns. Small, beautiful in color and so rewarding. Fish for a week and not see anyone on the rivers. Love it. I am retired with an RV, Jeep, and kayak searching for hidden gems to fish. Look forward to seeing more from you.

I think I enjoyed this video more then any others. This is my favorite kind of fishing. Maybe not the biggest fish but everything just works together to make it amazing. One of my favorite memories is fishing a very small creek in Yellowstone national park and catching dozens of brookies with my kids.

Question: when you-re wading, have your rod and net in your right hand and only one hand to deal with the fish, how do you get the fly out? I don-t remember seeing any shots of how you do this. I
