Fly-In Ice Fishing! This was a first for me! Backcountry fly-in ice camping, amazing experience in the Canadian Shield targeting Lake Trout E. : Great productions but what is interesting is. all your gear looks pretty new and expensive and doubt it all is from sponsors. Just wonder how you young fellas do it, your parents? lucky to have a great paid job? or just lucky? However, love the fact that your generations is really interested on the outdoors vs playing games at home. Kudos to you and your crew

In La Crosse Wisconsin, you can charter an air boat on the Mississippi, that will get you on some of the largest perch you have ever seen. Ill happily sponsor you a place to stay if you ever wanna get down here and try it.

I hate using a outhouse in the winter can't imagine snapping one off out in the middle of the lake. On a serious note we use to fly out of Nakina, Ontario on fly in trips. Nothing like it.

what depth were you catching them in? i have a lake near me with some massive lakers but it hits about 400 feet and the shores are mostly deep. what depth would you recommend?
reply

Hey jay, how well did the deeper work? Thinking about trying one but a little concerned about how well it will work when the ice is 12 thick and if the scan area is affected?
