Not sure if you know about the underwater pumpkin carving contests they do on wWesthawk lake MB. It would be a cool video to see you doing that next year, might be somthing fun in October to do.
Started in SAS and they recently started it in mb too. I think it's done by the MB scuba diving club.

Looking forward to the humminbird vs garmin review. Oh and the shot in the fly in ice video. the shot with the super cub right in the background was money. I suggest you come out to Maine and tour Old Town manufacturering then we can go do some catch and cook.
