I already have a reel that is 6. 4: 1 and wanted to get a 7. 1: 1 but since they don't carry the lfs in 7. 1: 1 what would be the next closest gear ratio to that? Or the best ratio for throwing a wide variety of lure. jigs, squarebills, top water and plastics? Thanks again

Question, I dont mean to sound snobby, but how do you guys get your boats? I know no people your age can afford these types of boats and I know yours wasnt shown in the video, do your families pay for them and then you kinda mooch off of them? Or did your parents give you the boat? Thanks

I always wait until the morning of to tie on, unless its braid. I'm paranoid that the knot strength weakens for mono, fluoro, copoly. I think i read in an In fisherman or bass master about how knot strength weakens after a certain amount of time. Maybe thats BS. Any thoughts?
