WARNING: DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME In today's episode I hit the road in search of some spring time bass fishing honey holes Sometimes it's nice taking a step off of the boat and doing some good oldfashioned pond hopping I WAS GIVEN PERMISSION TO FISH BOTH OF THE LOCATIONS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO

I usually throw a Berkley Powerbait 3 shad in the ponds I fish. For some reason I've had better luck with the Pearl Red Eye Shad than any other colors that Berkley makes. I'll also throw a spinnerbait, most of the time it's an H&H Cajun Spin 1/4oz usually once again white with black stripe or black dots. I'm not sure y I catch em in muddy water on white compared to any other colors. The only thing that I've caught bass on that wasn't white was a silver with red n black back popper with a red n white bucktail

The blue is most likely dye from a herbicides mix. Herbicide applicators use blue dye to keep track of what they have already sprayed. The county road commission probably contracted some certified applicators to spray to keep the grasses and weeds from growing through the cracks, which would lead to road damage if not taken care of.

What reel you using on that castaway rod and i use a regular spinning reel but want to get a baitcaster. I usually use a left handed reel but notice most baitcasters are for right handed. Can you buy left handed ones or are they meant to be right handed and what would be easier for me?

There are some public ponds in my hometown, but the private ones ALWAYS fish better. There are alot more bites and alot more quality. However, I don't get to fish that many private ones because I'm afraid I will get in trouble. Do you do this a lot? Ever been kicked out?

I believe this may be my favorite video, I learned a few tips about frog fishing from you on this one. I have a few ponds in my area like this and I've been wanting to try them but never went to ask anyone permission.

Nice video Andrew, glad to see that you did ask permission to fish and thanks for giving the specifics on your tackle. Thise Castaway rods look promising. Ever thought about doing a fly rodding for bass video/ Tight lines

Love these pond videos and the Jon boat videos cause that's the only type of fishing I can do around here. Also, when you switched to the 3rd person view to catch you setting the hook were pretty sweet shots.

i use my frog on top water but i have huge fish and a ton of moss and they never just swallow the bait so i have to flip the hook where it sticks out but then it catches the moss any solutions
