Tried fishing a new pond today. Turns out it has some stud bass in it. In this episode of Fishing with Flair I show you (kinda) how I approach a new body of water. Well, mainly how I pick the lures for that particular day. I had a great time fishing a new puddle and was fortunate enough to connect with one solid fish and a couple squeaks. I take almost one of everything I have for bass when I go to a new pond except deep cranks. I haven't used them but once in the last three years and didn't catch anything. I tie on what I think I'll need before I go and I take every bass combo I have plus a couple for panfish in case that's the type of pond it is. Then i might retie when I get there based on what I see.

I forgot to add that i do like watching Jon B but he has strayed away on the fishing advise lately, not a big deal but he turned over a new leaf and its nice to see someone(Andrew Flair) that stayed committed to the teaching of bass fishing, that's how you guys got big, was helping all of us
