Good luck surviving the winter in the flat lands Andrew. This is my least favorite time of year when the fishing is non-existent and we can do nothing but look at the calendar and wait. I'll be counting down the days until I can get back out on the river to chase some smallies.

i'm suprised you don't fish at Carter Lake more often. There are giants (4-6lbs) in there and giant lily pads. Also, its right next to the airport so you can always invite your youtube buds who never come to Omaha.
