I know in Minnesota they do a circuit where there is a marshal/ref assigned to each boat and he weighs the fish for you and then updates it on an app, so all day you know exactly where everyones at. I think its Classic Bass is the name of it. But there is no netting or boat swinging. Gotta grab it. It's all about conservation I guess.

Hey everyone in the comments. Guys I've never done a bass tournament AND I KNOW THIS MIGHT BE A REALLY DUMB QUESTION since they throw the fish back how do they know if they caught the fish like what do they do when they catch the fish

I've been in a tournament before with my cousin I didn't catch anything probably cause I'm not very patient fishing but he caught some and I think he caught a big wiper we did this in Nebraska

I remember back in the 1970s of early sunday mornings there was fishing shows on tv here in the d/fw, some of those tournaments had bass boats for first prize. boats like skeaters and such.
