These are great fish to catch and their just awesome to look at. Turly they are a blast from the past. When i went to catch some of these in my home state of missouri in the ozarks i hooked up with an 80+ pound carp. It was more closer to 100 but we thought we caught the record but it was a bighead carp. Crazy when ypu go snagging because ypu never know what you'll hook into.

Hey idk if youll respond but i need some good advice. Im getting a 10 foot jon boat if i build a deck from the middle bench to the front do you think it will lose all stability? I know this has nothing to do with this video but idk if i would get replys on your old boat vids. Thanks to any one who helps

Before anybody on here goes out to try to snag these fish you need to check your states regulations. These fish have been lost in 4 states and Canada. There are only 22 states remaining with these fish and of those 11 classify the Paddlefish as Endangered or Threatened.

Personally I think foul hooking fish the winching then in, getting a photo then putting them back is wrong. Youre bringing a fish in backwards where you will be drowning it, Im not saying these fish died but Id say they could of even though they swam off.

Flair while youre in Oklahoma, you should fish crowder lake near Weatherford. I would love to take you out on the lake and see how you would break down the lake and catch bass. It would really help me out because I usually have trouble finding them.

Oklahoma for the win Hell yeah, was waiting for a vid like this. Very nice to see you do this, Oklahoma City maybe one day? Idk, fishing in the city sucks for the most part although you may catch an octopus in Thunderbird? Love it

Wow, that fish is unreal looking Never seen this style of fishing either pretty crazy how you can just throw a hook on a weight and snag one. Was hoping to see those kids who won the bass boat out there with you.

We have those here in Indiana but they are illegal to keep on a standard fishing license. I remember seeing one around 6ft when I was a kid. Creepy looking fish for sure.
