They don't let us fish down town. But check out the lake with the fountain, there are some MASSIVE grass carp down there. I know you are a big bass fisherman and there are some master anglers down there, but I'm pretty sure you still cant fish anywhere down there.

Stay in west omaha if you're going to call an area you are not familiar with sketchy. I grew up down in north omaha. How dare you come into this neighborhood labeling people and the area. Don't do this shit for attention, not cool.

Dude. Why would he not just go in his boxers or buck ass naked. Then you can at least put clean dry clothes on. For not wanting the water on him. he has to wear the nasty wet clothes all day. makes no sense.

haha, I used to live not to far from there. Its a pretty dirty pond though I think there are some fish in there. You have to head down to dodge park under the docks and do some magnet fishing.

He wasn't saying that you couldn't magnet fish in the park. He just said you cannot do it off the bridge, which is understandable if they do not allow fishing off the bridge.

The carabiner goes on your belt loop. The rope should be tied with a secure method directly to the magnet. The carabiner is the weak like between the rope and magnet.

I know that place anywhere. Been going there almost everyday since I was little. But I'm not quite sure it's classified as a river. To me it's more like a stream

It's rebar not rebarb and you don't get shanked by a needle. You get stuck or poked. You get shanked by a shank which a piercing weapon made in a prison. Just saying.

Hint: When authorities ask what you're doing, don't say anything that includes the word fishing. Instead, simply tell them you're removing trash from the water.
