WHAT is Living INSIDE My ABANDONED High-Fence RANCH! (Tons of Trail Cam Footage)
video description
You could however high fence your own ranch. That might not be so big as this property, but it would be easier to take care of the exotic animals.

That's actually not too many does. You could stand to shoot a couple, but at least on that first card, you had at least 3 antlerless bucks. That population actually looks pretty good. Also, they dont need to leave that property to get food. There is plenty of forage to feed them, so I wouldnt be shocked if those deer have never left that property. You should probably go start cutting sections out of the fence to at least allow other bloodlines to move in and for some of those deer to move out. Just follow some trails to the fence, take some bolt cutters, and cut out a section of fence here and there.

I'd say leave the fence but best option would be check out the state of the fence and go 50/50 as long as you don't break what you take down use it to split the property in half and have both leaving the shop inside the fenced area, realistically you don't need to fill the whole property with exotics. More content and without the fence the properties only good for hunting or trapping seasons.

I d remove the high fence! Dealing with all the tree huggers would be a major headache! I d just remove the fence or shorten it and turkey hunt and deer hunt. it will be way cheaper then all the bs and bs lawsuits leftist will push to try and make you go bankrupt to tell you to not eat meat because it has feeling and a reason to live but yet think planned parenthood is okay.

If your in texas you need to check with game and wild life again or look into it yourself. U should be able to have your high fence and hunt white tail. We have a high fence area n dekalb texas that has white tail elk and all kinds of other exotics in there for hunting. It's called elk meadow.

Flair please don t kill your big bucks (probably the 8 because he has good genes) for Atleast a season or two but keep feeding up and keeping him in there because you want his good genes to stay on the property so he has lil beefcakes running around the property that look like him

Hey flair, have you considered moving part of the high fence? Make it a smaller section (like 50/50.
Half of the ranch is for exotics and the other half is for native species.
Course, I have no idea how expensive it would be to move the fence haha.

Flair says that there is too many does so the bucks wouldn t be moving, but if there is more does the bucks will be running around more trying to find them and if there are only some does on your property the bucks will just leave searching for does.

I still think you should have Trapper J, Lunkers and LFG come out and have a look at the place to get their ideas on management and potentials. That's a big database of experience to lean on.
