The line I use for topwater Easy knot for using on topwater baits Wes: So I finally ordered some powerSilk and it did just fine against the reds yesterday. Caught 3 on a Skitterwalk, one went 24. I used a canoeman loop knot though; I tried tying your knot but I couldn't get it just right. Good line choice, dude, I like it. Thanks for sharing.

Every time you want to change the lure on your rod do you have to cut the line? I use this little metal thing that you squeeze and It comes open but it doesn't look like that's what the pros do. Please reply.

Thanks so much for the great video! I've been using walking baits and just tying all the way down to the eye. What a moron! I can't wait to go out this week and try this know on a walking bait.

wesgardner23 It is pretty limp too, I love it on schooling fish because you can snipe those long range blow ups. Should be good on the reds

Good info on that PowerSilk, I was looking for a good low-stretch mono line for throwing topwaters for redfish. Thanks for the video.
