Every waterway is like this in Massachusetts, unless it's the reservoirs or Cape Cod.
I clean up all the trash around me while I'm fishing but I don't mess with the needles, I was gonna start carrying gloves but even then it's questionable

I do a lot of smallie fishing in downtown Milwaukee WI and surrounding area (they actually get pretty big and there are tons in the rivers around here) and I know all about the importance of heroin needle proof boots, they are a must.

Funny shit man! This was a great vid. Fish with him more often! and you don't need to go to the doctor, just head to the closest farm supply store and get some animal grade Penicillin. good to go.

I've got those same boots! I don't know about heroin needles, but they definitely aren't rusty nail-proof. I've got the hole in my foot to prove it lol

I live in Dallas and that creek was surprisingly clean compared to most others in the city. Still wouldn't eat anything out of it though.

Damn, I live in those apts and saw yall. that water is nasty but there are some big cats, carp, drum, gar, crappie, and a lot of bass.
