Fishing Small Swimbaits in Canals

In this crazy vlog, we are fishing in Florida and got the opportunity to go skydiving with the United States Army Golden Knights. They have a strict no jump rule when the winds are in excess of 20mph, so we had to stay on the ground for this trip. Since we couldn't go skydiving, we decided to go pond fishing for bass and ended up driving all over Miami and Ft. Lauderdale to find some bass fishing ponds. I ended up catching some largemouth bass throwing small swimbaits around the grass. To my shock, I even caught a nice peacock bass while reeling my swimbait just on the surface. At the end of this vlog, we are joined by my friends BlacktipH for more pond bass fishing, and then me and Blacktip will be heading to saltwater to go after sharks and other big saltwater fish. a good tip for not getting grass stuck on your tag end of you line to your belly weighted hook: make it a texas rig with a small 1/8-1/4 oz bullet weight peg it and it will come through pad stems, hydrilla, any vegetation perfectly. use this technique on guntersville a lot and anywhere with shallow vegetation

How would you like to catch a fresh water tarpon! I know a spot down here in coconutcreek Florida. It would be amazing to try to put you on one. Even if its not for a video. You are one of my favorite fisherman and it would be an honor. My name is Stephen btw. And I can understand if your just to busy

Top tip for the tag end catching weeds. Buy some Liquid Tape from the hardware store. Brush a dab on the knot/tag end. Dries in 2-3 minutes. Shape it to a cone as it sets. Protects the knot and zero weed foul ups.

lol I think it's kind of funny that you guys think the gear you're using is UL. The heaviest line I use is 10lb test for flatheads. If you break a bass off on 20lb braid then you're doing something wrong

skydiving is amazing fun! ask to be the last pair out, you'll open up your shoot the highest and the shit those guys do under a shoot is WAY more intense than the actual free fall lol
