About the docks and shaded area. I thought that would work for me too and man it was tough on me too bro. I thru in craws, curly tail worms, trick worms, ned rigs, chatter bait and even a suspended jerkbait and only caught two dinks. real early in the morning while the water was still very choppy. but like you, after that sun came all the way out and the choppy water slow rolled in. that was it. nothing else would bite. and same thing as you too. the shad were everywhere.

If I would have been on a boat. I would do one thing different to try and that is because I am stubborn and don't give up when I fish. I would have gone to that center island in the inner pockets and tried that. but hey I am on foot at the bank. so there ya go.

See when that happens to me I do the opposite of what you think you should be doing. I'll go deep and fish deeper water and try everything there. I've had days on lakes just like that where all we catch them is shallow but when that bite turns off I'll go deep.

Lake Livingston has all kinds of health advisories on eating the fish from that lake. Its got Mercury, PCB, Dioxin & Furan contamination. People are pretty crazy ignorant if they keep anything out of there for the table.

Thanks for the video. I don't care if you catch them or not just enjoy the videos. But it sounds like you went through what my buddy and I went through this weekend back in DFW, the fish for whatever reason just shut down.

on days like that when the sun starts coming up I find that if you fish drop offs with a dark watermelon red flk or purple flk on a football shaky head it usually gets bites every time and I fish a very pressured lake

Dude you guys must have been in rocky area, I went to the state park this weekend 25-26 and its like real sandy there and only caught a couple of dinks. well done tho.

there is nothing you did wrong. it is just that it wasn't your day. go back tomorrow and you may catch pb in every species. you just never now from day to day.

when im having a crapy bass day throw a chatter without the skirt put s swimbait on it that looks like the shad. that always produces for me.
