Hell yes the JHO experience! I also grew up with a watching Jimmy sitting next to my dad on the couch and just listening to my talking to the TV and saying see son that's how you catches just like I was telling you, now watch what he's doing so you can get better too. We would be eating some type of fish he had caught crappie, sauger, walleye, sauger, catfish, etc. it's some of my best memories as a child besides being on the water with him. I only had a VERY short time with him, by the time I was 9 year's old he was gone and out of my life. But the love for dangling still stays and carries on today. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us LFG, some us really enjoy it and appreciate more than you know, legit tears on this of the screen from the good memories.

Awesome I got to meet and fish with my hero Hank Parker and his son JR out side of my wife and kids that was the best day of my life. I never got to meet Mr Jimmy and would love to fish with him just to hear him giggle his laugh is contagious! His love for God and the outdoors is even more amazing. Hope while you were there Mr Jimmy did a devotional with you!

Can't tell you how fast I clicked on this video once I seen the thumbnail. As many I grew up watching Jimmy an still do an even started to kiss my first bass of the day everytime out. Caught my PB on a spinner bait for both smallmouth and largemouth. To meet Jimmy would be an honor. Good luck and tight lines to all.

LFG, I'm 40 years old Massachusetts native. I also grew up watching Jimmy Houston Outdoors on the TNN network on Saturday mornings. As a kid my friends were into video games and cartoons I watched bass fishing on Saturday and had my mom drop me off at a lake right after. I tried to use everything I learned each Saturday.

I ve been watching Jimmy and his wife for a while now interacting with the deer on their property. It s such a cool thing having wildlife on your own property like that. I have a few deer on my tiny 2 acres that like to eat pears from the pear tree in the back yard during the summer.

I know about Jimmy Houston and how legendary he is but I didn t grow up with him so he s not someone that I have looked up to but I think a lot of people can agree that s who LFG has been to me he s the guy that i ve looked up to. LFG is a great angler and a great guy!

if you ever come out to California we have 4 pound crappie and potential world record black crappie. My good buddy caught a 4. 18 a few years back. Lake Casitas is the lake where im talking about, Im a guide there.
