I always thought those squirrels looked so funny because of their ears compared to the grey squirrels here in NC, we also have black fox squirrels and white squirrels. I grew up eating squirrels, you make me want to go out and kill a few, it looked damn good. My first squirrel gun was a 410 but then I started shooting them with a Marlin model 60 22.

Ive always eaten squirrel cooked down in a stew, but last time I went squirrel hunting I did it over the fire just like that. I was as surprised as you were hahah I could have sworn it was going to be very chewy and flavorless. Not the case at all! Id definitely recommend it to anyone.

wish we had bigger squirrels here in Alaska. Before I moved up here ate a lot of squirrel. Good meat. One of the best things I had was a friends wife made squirrel and stuffing, where the squirrel was cooked and then added to stuffing and the stuffing cooked.

Awesome video Justin! I was going to say just boil the squarl in some water for a while then empty of all the water & put over the fire with some seasoning on it & get a little color in it then pull off & enjoy the tender juicyness! Best ever for sure!

LFG they make under quilts for hammocks that attach underneath and keep your back warm. As you know the sleeping bag does nothing for your back because it can't loft up with you laying on it. The under quilt will stay lofted up and keep you warm

I would make a cut in the middle of its back and put my pointing fingers of each hand and pull both of them at same time. No cutting around the feet. I'd cut the tail off and head of fog gut them before you skin them

HUGE Suggestion, obviously not in the field. lol. But brine squireelsquirrels in 1/2 cup salt per quart water for 3 days. Dump and rinse. Soak in buttermilk for 1 more day and you have some nice stuff!

A awesome idea for a giveaway would be a weekend at bush camp with you and maybe other googans if they want. Pig and squirrel hunting and some fishing in the river. Way better than any material prize!
