Justin. you have come a long way, baby! I do like how you are learning the outdoors skills, whether it be through triumph, or failure. It is the ONLY way to learn. Good job, young man. As far as tripods go. I only use then to hang pots. A fold up grilling grate with legs or a flat grate used between rocks over coals is always a better choice for solid foods. I am so stoked at the effort you are putting forth with these outdoor skills. Keep it up. Maybe you can even teach some of these skills to the Googans. although we're not quite sure who is a Googan and Who is not these days. seems a lot of people are being brought in by other squad msmbers. and they get a lot of play time. Are they actually members? And what's with one rod. he needs to go go pasture again. no input.

You did really good we all have bad moments. I would suggest that you use both the racks and lightly sandwich what your cooking so if it tips the racks will hold it in place. I've also used a rock to cook on before. Caveman stye.

Awesome video brother, something you could have done was sandwiched your chicken between the 2 cooking grates and then suspended it but it is a learning experience, and the only best way to learn is trial and error

I love it great learning experience. most folks put the grate on stones or one metal post like at a lot of camp areas. From an engineering perspective; two lines to a horizontal grate was a Fail.
