I'm guessing you froze without an underquilt on that hammock. Though I didn't quite catch what you said the temp was suppose to be. If you plan on making a habit of this kind of activity, I would get a respectable machete or a small camp axe as well as a folding saw. If you decide to get a better machete, I would suggest the Condor Parang. There are several to choose from. Personally I use the Condor Village Parang.

I Just purchase the Curado DC. want to pair it up with shimano zodias rod.
Wanted to ask for some advice, I wan to cast light lure what do u suggest. the ml, m or mh. can the mh rod cast 5 gram lure? Wan something that can cast light lure a mile but still strong if hook on a fish. thank you

hey just next time bring a highway rode flare it will start any wood wet or dry and there are 15min sticks and 30min sticks best way to get a fire started fast when you need it. and just wait for it to burn out before you cook over the fire. just a little survival tip.

Ive been hammock camping in the Adirondacks and damn does it get cold. Kind of pointless backpacking with a hammock when you need a full size sleeping bag and maybe a mat under you to stay warm. Lol. Last night I woke up freezing and just slept on the ground.

damn my pro box for February wasn't half as good as his. it was so bad i canceled my sub. i'm in the north east and it's February and they sent me a hollow body frog and a pack of big bites i can pull off the shelf at walmart.

Here's a hammock tip I've learned if u get it tighter between the trees it's better for sleeping. For sleeping with a sleeping bag I recommend a mummy bag, u un zip it and use I backwards,
