There is nothing like the feeling of cranking the throttle on a tiller handle on a small boat. Something about the shaky instability coupled with the simplicity makes it exhilarating, especially on a new (used) motor and the relief you feel when it actually works!

way up a small creek. as far as you can take it. I have the same size boat with the same motor and I do that all the time and I love it. Nobody around to bother you and I almost always catch loads of fish.

You do NOT want to run 2 cycles out of fuel, if its out of fuel its out of OIL! If you are running full throttle 4000 rpm and run out of fuel/oil it might end bad.
