Camping by the lake with no more food left, I'm fishing for any fish I can eat, except for bass. Catfish and Bluegill on the open fire by the lake, tasty!

When we were kids we often went camping with just our trusty zebco 33's we would scale and gut the fish like you did but to cook them we would cover them in mud and chunk m on coals.
Find a green stick in a Y to use as tongs to pull m off let cool n the mud cracks off easily and ta-da got some yummy, well not crispies per say but good eating nonetheless

Hey whatsup LFG, my name is Tyler Kendrick and I go to SFA in East Texas. I am writing an article about successful anglers and their favorite lure/technique to use during the Fall months. I figured I would reach out to you due to your success not only in the fishing world but also with all of your entrepreneurial endeavors and a lot of people look up to you!

Great video. The next time you cook your fish over a campfire I recommend that you take a green stick or skewer and poke it through the fish lengthwise, and place it directly on top of the hot coals. Turn them often to ensure that both sides cook evenly. With this method, it won't be more than a few minutes before your fish is flaky and ready to eat brother.

I watched the video of the tree rat you made the reason why it came out chewy you need to let it age for at least a week in the fridge vaccumed sealed after you fry it make your gravey then put the squirrel back in your gravey and let it slowly simmer garuntee it will fall off the bone

Hey Justin, I know you've made the switch from Humminbird to Garmin. and it makes sense to give their new motor a dangle. but I've yet to find a product that outworks the quiet power that catches fish'. Gonna' have to get back to the MinnKota bud! God Bless!

Hey my friend just a tip on bait you probably have never tried but works like magic on pan fish ( wasp larva) Get rid of adult wasp on nest and knock the nest down and open the little canals and get the little larvae out and have a ball my friend

Hi Justin, not sure if you'd still see this comment, but some advice on the grilling. I always make sure that my logs make coals and no flames in order to avoid the charred effect and make for easier cooking control. awesome videos, thank you!

I'd have to choose Bluegills. I like catfish but bluegills are sweet tasting. Bluegills through the ice have a little bit higher fat content to their meat, making them even better than open water eating. I love me some Bull-gills.

You should let fire burn down a bit cook it off more of coal heat instead of straight fire. Maybe watch Bone Dawgs catch n cook fer pointers he cook a fish in a pan. Butter lemon and alvadcado. I learnt from bone Dawg too
