Very cool. Looked slow at first but definitely turned out to be a pretty good day of fishing. That back lash would have been a challenge haha. I HATE cutting line so I would have spent the rest of the day trying (and then cut it anyway probably haha)

lol haha backlash/bird's nest sucks XD once i was practicing casting with my overhead(this was wen i was first trying out using overhead reels) on a surfcasting gear and my shockleader broke off and that gave me one hell of a bird's nest XD

I believe those parasites are baby freshwater muscles. freshwater muscles lure fish to themselves and spray the fish's mouth with eggs and they live on the fish as parasites until they grow a shell

snakeheads change color when there mating, if a snakehead it is the light tan color and if there not mating they are the dark brown color but not all snakeheads mate at the same time
