The first Bahamas Fishing Video is finally here! We took a trip across the Gulf Stream from Stuart, Florida to the city of West End of Grand Bahama island. We started the day by Deep Dropping in 2300ft of water in the Atlantic ocean for Monster Wreck Fish using squid and bonito as bait on our rigs, but only caught a Bizarre Looking Deep Sea Green Eyed Shark. We then moved on and dropped the electric reels in 1, 000 feet of water to catch Yelloweye, Queen, And silky snapper. We were also hoping for a big Mystic, Snowy or Warsaw Grouper. I ended the day doing some Jetty Fishing at Blue Marlin Cove and only caught one Red Hind (Strawberry Grouper. It was a slow first day, but we caught multiple species and were thrilled to be on vacation in the scenic Bahamas.

I hope that you had a legal right to fish in the Bahamas. It is a private territory with laws to protect its fish reserves. American boaters often travel into Bahamian waters and fish there illegally without the required fishing permit with no consideration of Bahamian laws. Your presence, in Bahamian waters, is difficult to detect because of the large body of Bahamian waters right of the South Florida coast. Bahamian waters is a sovereign territory and you should clear Bahamian Customs and Immigration to fish there and obtain a fishing permit. Note Bahamian law, Any person who is not a Bahamian citizen needs a sportsfishing permit if they wish to engage in fishing from a vessel that is not Bahamian owned. There is also regulation that covers the amount of fish that you can harvest from Bahamian waters

Fish tea is actually called boiled fish here in the Bahamas.
Chop up the head, spine and any extra meat.
Dice up an onion half of bell pepper a stalk of celery.
Cut 2 potatoes in 1 inch squares.
Season the pieces of fish with salt and diced finger or haberno pepper.
Add every thing to a pot fill to level of fish with water boil 25 to 30 mins. Boom!
Squeeze lime and pepper over it once served. (If needed)
You'll know its ready when potatoes are soft.

If you have to say it's not cheating, then you're probably cheating. And yes, I've hand cranked from 1800 ft, so it's possible. for fishermen who aren't lazy and want to actually catch fish instead of pressing a button.
