My buddy Alec and I got stuck on the tip of a jetty while striper fishing, as we did not account for the high tide coming up. This is day 2 of my Connecticut fishing trip in the long island sound. We fished all day and night and I caught my biggest striped bass on a spro bucktail jig as well as my pb black sea bass. Two or three more Striper surf Fishing Videos to come!

Did you not have much opportunity for cooking? Black sea bass is one of the best tasting fish in the Northeast and it looks like you got some keeper bass as well (my personal favorite eating fish. Great videos! It's making me miss Boston now that I'm out in Portland.

Lovin these striper videos! Also Im pretty sure by your last video you are back in FLA but dont buy Spro bucktails they're garbagio. Andrus (or Asgard Jigs/other custom ones) you can get at most mom n pop tackle shops are MUCH better quality.

landsharkfishing I fish down in mystic CT all the time and I am always looking for new spots to surf fish when I cant take the boat out. Was this anywhere near mystic CT/ RI boarder?

I used to go to that Cabelas to kill time and max out my credit card weekly. Fatty's is the best. Those 2 are the only things I miss about CT. Moved down to Miami last year.

Sorry about the ripped waders Victor but the slime and weed covered rocks of New England don't respect anything but Korkers.
BTW, that Striper was a nice fish.

I like the the rod you have, it looks balanced with good backbone
what kind is it? I see a golden star on it!
would I be able to get one on line?

Landsharkfishing do you think a penn fierce 2 8000 size reel with 80 pound braid would work for snook tarpon and small or medium sized sharks
