Everything you see in this video was legal and abides by FWC rules and regulations for sharks in Florida! We headed down south to do some Florida Keys bridge fishing! After seeing a bunch of big Bull Sharks harassing my fish, I decided to drop down a shark bait and it did not take long to hook up! The Florida Keys have some great land based fishing shark fishing spots! I have released hundreds of sharks in my lifetime and while I generally practice catch and release, I occasionally harvest a shark. This was my first Bull shark and it made for an awesome catch clean cook video. In Florida you are allowed to keep 1 Bull shark per person per day, with a minimum fork length of 54inches. Florida biologists have determined that FL waters have a sustainable and harvestable amount of Bull Sharks, which is why we are allowed to keep them!

Looked fun and great. Remind me to be your neighbor. Could you buy me a house? I'm kinda broke at the moment. I'll pay back in. something great like stopping robberies or home invasions, finding cool stuff, entertainment, cooking, but you have that covered nice: .
I'd take a chunk of that shark and cook it low n slow (after sear) in cast iron. I think that would be amazing. Also that cartilage and fin in pressure cooker or long time low cook until it softens up. Like the CocoVan principal. Also wonder what it would be like to spit cook them whole while turning like a beef or pig in that skin.
You do an amazing job of cooking. Don't get me wrong. I'm always yumming over your cook vids.

Thats why with circle hooks I just rigging floss for live an dead baits an u get the most hook exposure without risking losing bait an have higher hook ratio do this as well an I noticed bull sharks are like surprise attackers they hang around just chilling then once they see something wounded or worth the energy they just take off like crazy an attack whatever it is thats why there so dangerous

Talking to a guy one time, and we were talking about different stuff we had eaten. Raccoon came up and, as I hadn t eaten it before I asked what he thought raccoon was similar too, after thinking about it he said it sort of tastes like Fox. Ahh what can you say!

I've been waiting for this catch clean and cook cause I've caught some fatties in the keys bridges but I've been to scared to harvest them. I don't want to waste any meat. Good video as always Vik

It would be really fun if you did a Fall themed video and treated the shark like pork chops! I could totally see it smothered with apples, onions and sage. You ve made me a shark believer!

You should do a collab with Stanz fam while you are there. They just did a shark video. I normally don t like shark videos however when you fish for sharks it s different. Keep it up!

Did you guys find any hooks in him? That looks like the one I lost about a week ago on that same spot lol. Awesome video, glad to see you going back to your roots.

Great life! Interesting that you mention a similarity to pork chops. I always felt that swordfish is similar to pork chops. Is the bull shark similar to swordfish?

hey when you catch a shark did you ever think about keeping the Finn and trying to make shark fin soup just to see what the great big fat deal is about it?
