Ever wonder what it's like to spend a day on a commercial lobster boat? My buddy Jeff is a commercial lobster fisherman and invited brook and I out for a day of hauling traps.
Main lobster aka American Lobster are one of the most sought after crustaceans in the Atlantic Ocean. We were fishing the waters of Cape Cod Bay in Massachusetts. We took some lobster home with us, and Jeff's friend Chad made a lobster Fra Diavolo pasta dish for us.
Bruce: I use to work at Beckoff's fish House which was in the right hand corner as you go out of the Sandwich Marina into the canal. We would spend 12-14 hours unloading fish. But when the sun would come up. We would go down to Marshland Restaurant for breakfast. As soon as we would walk in we would get people turning their heads at us. You think you smell after a day of lobstering. Imgine what 12 guys covered with fish slim smelled like. Date: 2020-11-06
