NOBODY Eats this Fish. Catch Clean Cook (Barracuda) mark: Vic, Hurry up and get here to San Diego the blue fin fishery is phenomenal right now. In June I caught a 186 pounder And this was not an anomaly there s tons of them here right now in that size range. Flat fall and vertical Jigs are the ticket. Colt snipers and knife jigs are working great too try 180 to 350 grams. Good luck

I've caught a baracuda about two month ago, I shared it up with a couple friends/colleagues. Funnily I've cooked the same fish three times and on the third time it almost killed me, one of my colleagues ended up spending a night in the hospital. The pain was so severe, all my joints aching, my belly felt as if someone lit a bonfire inside me, hot feels cold, cold feels hot. After a few hours I started throwing up, that's when I started feeling a little ease.

The locals here in grand cayman also love barracuda! I sometimes eat them when I catch smaller ones on the flats or canals because they have a much lower chance of getting you sick compared to the ones out on the reef. They are certainly a good tasting fish despite how they stink!

Coming to San Diego! Alright! Thresher shark and calico bass fishing is hot right now. There's also a smattering of yellowtail and white seabass. Giant bluefin just below the border! Can't wait to see that series. Let's link up and go surf fishing!

I hope the tuna bite is still hot when you get to San Diego! The past month of tuna fishing has been phenomenal. Got a couple 60# a few weeks ago. If they're not biting, you can still get yellowtail and WSB. Looking forward to those vids!

oh yeah full affect favorite fish to eat. One time in the keys we kept a huge one on the reef in the summer and while catching parotfish still am very confused why we didn't t get sick. know we only eat the small ones

Bro great video I love the ending of all your videos. Fishing is great and awesome but spending time with family and friends is time well spent. Keep up the good work. I see your restaurant coming soon. Lol

Barracudas taste really good! I live on the gulf and have never had an issue with it, in the Caribbean they are more prone to make you sick but not on the gulf. I love it!
