INVASIVE Catch in ROADSIDE Canal. Catch Clean Cook (Bullseye Snakehead) Andre: Snakehead is such a popular and sought after fish here in SE Asia (their native range) to the point that it is becoming expensive in the market. There are lots of snakehead species down here, and some of them are not as ugly as this one. In fact, the largest species, Giant snakehead (we call it Toman to distinguish it from lesser snakeheads) are quite pretty IMO since they look more like fish with red eyes, light belly, dark top and thicker body profile. These tomans will cost you a fortune either as pet or food, since they are pretty rare and they grow so much bigger than the one in this video, often growing over 3 feet long and weighing over 30 lbs. They are rarely eaten anymore though on where i live since they worth so much more in the aquaria trade. I wonder whether if toman snakehead also exist as invasive species in the US.

He didn't miss it thats not how it works. as the angler you said youbket him eat it so then that means YOU failed to set the hook lol. I've never heard anyone try to blame it on the fish though thats a whole new level of pretension

Hey Vic I m from central fl and we don t have snakeheads here but I m originally from Miami. Any tips where I can go to land a snake or two down there? I d take the trip! Love all the videos you put out! Keep it up

also on the fillet, if you have some time, theres some belly meat on a snakehead but theres a stomach lining which is kinda annoying. but you should still try it if you get a snakehead again
