Getting PAID to Fish. TRUTH Behind Commercial Fishing! Catch Clean Cook madtownangler: I use to work up in Alaska and the area where I lived had twenty four hour seasons for halibut. So imagine getting ready to fish for weeks on end and having to stay awake for an entire day maybe a little nap.
They used to cut up bait ahead of time and take it out of barrels to put on giant circle hooks. Sometimes people would get caught on the hooks and go overboard impaled on them. This is where I learned about circle hooks. Maybe ten years later is when I first saw them in magazines.

LOL'd so hard when you showed Adam's technique for ganging the hooks. You do know Mustad sells open eye hooks specifically for this purpose, right?
Also, I appreciate you're using live bait but normally a triple gang is used with dead baits & all 3x hooks are passed through the body with the tied hook at the head passing through the eye socket. Works not just for sardines (or pilchards as we call them here in Oz) with 2/0 or 3/0 hooks, but also small minnows (what we call whitebait) using #3 & #4 fishing for Bream, Flathead, Tailor, Sweetlip, Squire/Snapper and heaps more

I so enjoy watching Lord Victor and friends fish. Florida is beautiful and it makes me homesick for Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Hampton Rds, and Newport News. I love the shark fishing. Especially the care you have shown towards the Hammerhead Sharks from 2017 video which I watched last night. My grandfather was Chief Fisherman in our family. He would never let me touch his fishing tackle. Probably because I lost several flies brook trout fishing. No pun intended.

Steak! Surf and turf. Make some fish and chips next time. After that, chicken and waffles. Then find a catchy pork chop dish. It's all super good when you're hungry. Your military bro should bite into an onion like it's an apple.

I think they moved in on a spot that had recreational fisherman on it and dude was pissed they were drifting thru, commercial guys are kinda bullies on the water and at the dock.

What was the problem the captain of the blue center console? What did he say to you guys when he passed you on the starboard side about 5 from you? Kind of a d! ck move by him

I wonder how much kings sell for. I personally would just throw them back as a recreational fisher because, no matter how I've tried them, they always taste trashy.

I would love to move to Florida and team up with a commercial fishermen and partner with them to sell their fish that way they make more and every one eats well

Great meal, Vik! At first I was thinking the tostones wouldn't come out well since it seemed like you cut the plantains way big, but somehow you made it work.

I ve got a few of those senators and nobody ever seems to move the handle position. I seem to get a lot more cranking power moving the handle

Some boaters have no respect. It s absolutely crazy that people will go out of there way to not enjoy a day on the water peacefully.
