ALL Shirts on Sale! : Brook, Chris and I fished the inlet for around 24 hours and we caught a few redfish, along with some other big Bull Reds caught. The mullet Run should get crazy any day now! Just gotta get out there! The gear I fished in this video can be found below: Tarpon and Snook Shirts on SALE: Best Surf spinning Reel: Van Staal VSX 250: Less Expensive Van Staal: Best Hooks for Mullet Run (3/0-7/0): Cast Nets I use: I fish Bullbuster lines and leaders. I recommend 40lb braid, 60lb fluorocarbon or 80lb mono leader.

Good evening Vik. Really enjoy your videos and look forward to seeing them all. I would like your advice/recommendation on an Avet reel size. Getting two Connley rods and would like to pair them up with Avet reels. We fish from an 25' offshore capable boat. Want a two speed reel that would fit in with our target fish of red fish, grouper, AJ's, and be able to cast out and bring in 100lb. tarpons. We're located in N. E. Florida. Not looking for Wahoo Or Tuna gear. Just some thing a little downsized from that and comfortable to fish with yet capable of getting the job done. Probably using 30# braid, not more than 50# braid.
Thanks,

I was on a charter in Florida at Ponce inlet and we were using 6 inch mullet on average and the rig was 20 lb Floro tied with an fj knot and probably 8 foot of it with 20 lb braid then a 1/0 hook the guide was into light tackle I guess

Im heading down to Coco Beach FL on Oct 20 for 1 week. Never fished Florida but I fish the Outer Banks NC fairly regularly. Need some tips on what fish Im going to see a lot of and maybe some go to rigs or lures to use. Thanks

Take the 30 extra seconds to lower the fish with the net. Your too lazy and in a hurry to catch the next fish to do so? And sorry but is it cool to swing a redfish that's too big too keep onto concrete? Jackass.

That was nice color on couple of those bull reds. Slammin those bull reds down like that isnt good though. To each his own. Ahh the good ol crowdiness at the north jetty.

That guy Dave is so cool, I fished with him for a little while the second time I went there. He helped me with my rigging and technique. Really nice guy.

They should build a pvc fish slide so when you release your fish you dont have to drop them or lower a net! It would be way more fun to watch too!

Are you changing the name bc you're not doing any more LBSF dude? What's up? Been waiting for another shark fishing video!

That cast net throw was unreal! Throwing from that height, into the wind and a pretty pancake. Had to watch that a few times.
