Dow it does not make the ice any colder, it allows the water to get colder and even freeze if the water is in a seperate container like making ice cream. you use ice and rock salt which allows the water around the ice to get colder and acts as an insulation keeping the ice frozen longer and allows you to get cream below freezing temps and freeze with only ice and no freezer

Yes I love it, you guy's are perfect together, my wife loves snorkeling we have been to the Caribbean 3 times we may just move to Florida she was talking about, I love salt water fishing if we can get to the Bahamas that easy wow yes.
