In this episode we're fishing offshore at Los Buzos in Panama, and we're being rewarded with nonstop action. After multiple solid hookups on light tackle, one of our clients hooks into the fish of a lifetime: a MASSIVE Pacific sailfish. We also get several giant roosterfish to the kayaks

We really like your take on trash fish. I agree with your opinions on the snakeheads too. Up here in northern Ontario lots of people bad mouth northern pike. Its ridiculous! They fight good, and as far as were concerned maybe the best tasting fish up here. Ive eaten them all my life. Its tricky to fillet them boneless but I have my own technique and usually theres not one bone in a big meal. Plus they stay firm to cook in so many ways. I even make jerky with them. Funny everyone turns up their nose and calls them trash, but theyll eat like hogs when they have them here! Really appreciate your views on all the lower class fish. Theyre all fun to catch, just release the ones you dont like and appreciate the fight. Keep up the good work!

Wow That Pacific sail was freaking amazing dude, amazing, I need to start my bucket list and check off the tiny bit I did catch and end it with one of those, awesome PS. Everyone hates Pickerel round here and they are one of the best fish to bring in besides big stripers from the lake and dont taste too bad either

Any fish that gives you a challenge like that on a rod is anything but trash.
I've been told Dogfish are trash fish, but hook up on an 8 ft medium with 10 lbs test line
It's like a blue marlin if you can get it in
Anything that puts a smile that big on your face can't be trash and deserves respect.

live out by port Canaveral Fl and the jacks here are so much fun. we go a mile off the beach and find 30-40 pounders. ive seen schools of them moving together out there and it looks like an underwater cloud.

If i'm having a slow day on the water and a catch a decent Jack ill bleed it out and keep it. Is it as good as Reds, Trout, and Flounder. no but if done correctly its not horrible.

I think the reason people say theyre trash fish is because how easy they are to catch, its pretty easy to target them and catch big numbers
