In this episode we're camping out on the Brazos River below Lake Whitney in central Texas to celebrate our buddy and Orvis employee Chris Fowler's birthday. I brought my Keystone Cougar camper down and parked it right on the river, and we're chillin' and grillin' before our float. We'll be fly and spin fishing for largemouth bass, striper, white bass, hybrids, freshwater drum and carp during the 10 mile trip

If you do this float again I recommend downsizing to stuff as small as 1/8 oz roosters tails and yum 4 dingers. I do this float all the time, and all of my bass over 6 pounds (which is quite a few) have not come off full size senkos, spinners, topwater, cranks, etc. They like the small stuff

Good deal. Up in my neck of the woods(ish. Gonna order another handle for my Lightning kayak so I have dual steering. Loving the Lightning Strike. And Eric Porter is pretty awesome. I spoken to him a few times in one of the kayak fishing forums.

Did you hear about the skeleton they just found in an old building at College Station?
It was the 1938 hide and seek champion.
