In this episode, I meet up with Adam and Dom from Deep Blue Kayak Fishing to fish for big sharks and tarpon. from ladders. Yeah, you read that right - shark fishing from ladders. One of the most common way to lose sharks is by getting tail swiped - their rough skin will break right through your main line. By getting higher up using a ladder, you can keep that line up over their tails and lose less fish. We enjoy one of the best days of fishing I can remember with multiple hookups including barracudas, sting rays, several species of sharks, mutton snapper and multiple tarpon over 100 pounds

I am desperate to get btb, (your fault by the way) lol I have an opportunity to buy a 2017 stealth 14 made by malibu kayaks for a really good price. Is this a good kayak for btb? I haven't heard much about them, even the older ones, is there a reason for this? I really can't afford to throw money away. Thanks! Keep the video's coming!

Great video. The tarpon hooked were cool. This was way over something that I could physically do but it was fun to watch. I would watch another similar video. Is it very dangerous standing in water that sharks are swimming in? Arent you afraid of becoming the bait? Thanks for making the video, Tom Purtzer

It takes real men to fish like this or maybe just crazy men. Just want to know who came up with the idea to fish for sharks off a ladder, might want to get them a mental health assessment. Thankfully, no one got hurt.

so, im now certain this guy is just an idiot. Get a 15 footer banging on some ladder and guess what, your dead, or at best seriously injured. But watched fools is very entertaining. im rooting for the sharks.

See this done at Pyramid Lake in Nevada for monster trout. Seems extra sketchy, but fun, to do this for shark. Upside being falling doesn't result in hypothermia. Downside being you may get munched.

You should bring a big walmart blow up raft next time and fill it with ice brine so you can keep some for the freezer.
Anchor it close to the latter or something.
Muhuhahahahaha

I thought fishing for huge fish from a kayak was crazy. Other than the ppl that hunt sperm whales with spears and row boats I cant think of a more dangerous method of fishing.

All your videos have been great so far and its refreshing to see you experimenting a little with fishing styles and methods. Keep up the good work man!

Seems to me it's NOT a good idea to fish shark from ladders. You guys lost over half of them, one due to the fish swimming into the ladder.

Since you had two ladders, I think a plank in between them would make a comfortable seat, three ladders and you could make a camping platform!
