I'm a huge fan of the old H&H style rubber skirts for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits at night. Regardless of your color choice, the rubber skirts have a much greater contrast when compared to silicone skirts. To see the difference, put a rubber skirt on a spinnerbait and a silicone skirt on another and hold them up to the night sky. The difference is really obvious. If your local shops don't have rubber skirts, Google H&H Spinnerbait skirts. They're still available at online retailers. Make sure you get the longest skirt - I believe it's either 3 1/2 or 4. I typically use a black and chartreuse skirt which covers many of the ideas about color choices at night. I think the chartreuse is important because I slow roll a 1/2 oz. spinnerbait just above the bottom along the outside grasslines. The skirt color change from black to black and chartreuse made a big difference. I had fewer short hits and fish really sucked down the bait.

I would be absolutely terrified taking an expensive glass boat out in the pitch black of night. Especially on a body of water I don't know like the back of my hand. Good electronics & maps takes some of the nerves out of it of course. I still get a little nervous every time I go out on my local reservoirs at night in my aluminum VT-18 crestliner but it's usually well worth it. My personal best largemouth was caught at 2: 30 in the morning. 7. 2 lbs, and in New York state that is a hog.

Awesome, I've been thinking about making a night bass fishing video. I grew up on a lake that was about ten acres. One night I just decided to walk out back and cast a worm. I caught three bass in about a half hour. I got totally hooked on night fishing for bass that night, thirty years ago. It's difficult to really convey how much fun this type of fishing is. I think people just have to experience it to really understand how much fun it is. Thanks for making this video.

Heres a hint yall just because a company says it doesnt need service for x amount of years dose not mean you should not perform the service sooner. These days they are extending the intervals just to make more sales imo.
Brp is especially shady from my experience.

Need to come to down to TN and shoot a challenge. wreck some on a spinnerbait at night and a big worm everything from largemouth to smallmouth even some spots. Get you some Zorro aggravators in 1oz with the Colorado blade and hang on I'd be down to help out

I wish I had this guide in my Seminole tourney last week. I've never been there and the stumps are even scary during the day especially with the winds and the freak rain storms that blow through there.

I wonder if the bass and other fish are attracted to those lights cause of the bugs that hover around the lights and fall into the water, it makes sense if that's the case.

Ive caught some of my biggest bass at night. Dragging that same worm off ledges on a small lake in Arkansas. Darker the night the better it was. That was 10 years ago.
