Hi Scott I'm a young angler and I love your videos. I want to be a Bass Pro when I get older. Is there any tips you can give me? My dad was a Bass Pro in Bloomington on Monroe and taught me tons of tips and tricks so I'm not the usually bobber and worm kid. I fish everyday and use crankbaits in fall my favorite being the Livetarget Bluegill and mainly soft plastics in the other seasons. I also use topwater lures a lot also. I just would love to know how you became a Bass Pro thank you for reading.

I have done really well on this tech. in the Fall months, when Bass are schooling near the bottom. I have fished it anywhere from 6-30 ft. as long the Bass are schooling it is a great Strategy. My favorite way to fish this is with a Screw-loc Football Shakee-head jig-head and a simple swimming Craw Trailer, I do extremly well on a Grey color Craw-fish I had custom made for this tactic! Nice Video Scott Martin. Good Luck this year!

Hey Scott, old video, but I've always wanted to learn how to properly stroke a jig and I think this video did just that for me. I have a tournament coming up this weekend -- Dec. 3rd. I will be fishing in water temps of 55-60. Do you think implementing this technique along side of a jigging spoon in schools of shad and bass would work for late fall? Or is it too much action and I'm better off dragging a jig?

Quick question. What kind of bait casting reel and what gear ratio? would you recommend for fishing on shallow beds for small mouth?
