Particularly enjoyed this hook up at 11: 54. While playing with that gar, Scott notices a bass at the edge of the grass, pitches over to it, but the part that caught my attention is if you will notice, and although we miss it on the camera shot, he (one-handedly if that's a word) engages that reel, while only holding it in his right hand, and is instantly ready for the hookset.
Fun to watch that, as when I fish I have to switch the reel and rod to my left hand then click the handle on the reel to engage the reel, in other words I'm not instantly ready. One of many differences between a pro and amateur like me.

100% one of the best videos you have posted. In 2011 I lost my dad and my favorite fishing buddy. In a rig almost like the one you are in we spent many hours fishing pond and lakes noone had ever been fishing in. I have some of my best memories fishing with my father. I wish i could turn back time to be able to fish with him one more! Enjoy it as long as you can and by all means keep sharing because some of us live through you when we see videos like this one!

Im a Disabled Veteran and live in Port Saint Lucie. We take other veterans fishing and do really well. You should bring your Dad over her and fish this pond by my house. There has been a 15 pound 11oz caught in it and Ive caught 8s and seen others catch over 10s. I love the videos and it would be awesome to see yall fish

Scott how come you keep saying there is a 10lber but I have yet to see you catch one on the Jon boat tour? I really want to see a 10lber for sure on the Jon boat tour! How many 10lbers & bigger have you caught over the years?

I LOVED this video! I have always enjoyed your videos but this one hit home back when I was kid fishing with my dad and friends.

Scott I must say seeing you fish with your father makes me shed a tear. I think of how much I would of loved to fish with my dad but he passed away sometime ago. Keep the spirit alive my friend and fish on.

Pops is a badddd man. At 78 years old he really is doing well, strong and agile let's hope the rest of us fare as well and catch a few along the way.
